This is the bottom of the Media Curves poll. John Park was just above it on the men's side, at #7.

You know Shania Twain is not happy about this.

After 27 million “American Idol” votes, John Park and Jermaine Sellers were the two guys to leave the top 20 and Michelle Delamor and Haeley Vaughn were the two girls to go.

Leaving us with a top 16 devoid of God-given good looks and, well, God.

Sorry, Jermaine, I’m thinking your mouth might have had some part of your vote-out — specifically your voice. Not memorable enough. (And you talk too much.)

I was not at all surprised to see Haeley Vaughn go home. Cute as a button but can’t sing a lick.

But I was very surprised to see John Park as the first one to go home.

Really? I know he hadn’t made the biggest splash, but he had loads of potential and natural star power. Just ask Shania.

And Michelle Delamor? Why? Why? Why? She has the full package — looks, talent and willingness to take risks.

America, explain yourselves.

Here's the top of the poll.

You certainly did not follow this poll by MediaCurves.

Every week this place in New Jersey polls people about “American Idol” and this week they polled 3,804 viewers after the men performed and 3,690 after the women performed.

Viewers gave mad love to Lee Dewyze (16.5% of the vote) and even more love to Crystal Bowersox (26.8%).

The male contestants with the lowest percentage of votes were Jermaine Sellers, with 2.9% and Todrick Hall, with 4.3% of the votes.

The female contestants with the lowest percentage of votes were Haeley Vaughn, with 4.8% and Paige Miles, with 4.7% of the votes.

Based on that, Jermaine, Todrick, Haeley and Paige would’ve gone home. Instead, Michelle and John went home — which certainly didn’t help the show’s diversity any more.
